Container Damages form

The Container Damages form enables you to enter up to ten damage types for the selected container.

The layout of this form depends on whether custom damage codes have been uploaded or not. If custom damage codes are being used, see the steps to add custom damages. Otherwise, see the steps to add damages.

To add custom damages:

1. In the TYPE 1 field, enter the damage type.

2. Optionally, in the other damage type fields, enter additional damage types.

To add more than five damage types, click the More button.

3. Click to add the information to the inspection record and return to the previous form.

To add damages:

1. From the COMPONENT lookup list, select the equipment component that is damaged, such as the door or a side of the container.

2. In the LOCATION field, enter the values for the location of the damage.

3. From the TYPE lookup list, select the damage type, such as a tear, a hole, or rust.

4. From the SEVERITY drop-down list, select the severity of the damage, such as Minor or Major.

5. Optionally, in the QNTY, WDTH, LNTH, and DEEP fields, enter the quantity, width, length, and depth of the damage type.

6. Repeat steps 1-5 for each additional damage type.

To add more than five damage types, click the More button.

7. Click to add the information to the inspection record and return to the previous form.

To cancel the transaction and return to the previous form, click .

Depending on the screen configuration, you may not see all of the optional fields or the field names may be different.

To log out of the Gate Inspection program: Select Alt+3 two times or select F3 if you're using Teklogix.
